Mandalas are a spiritual and ritual symbol in Hinduism and Buddhism, representing the Universe. I love the symmetry in these designs and they translate perfectly to embroidery. We created 20 separate designs in beautiful satin stitching and kept all the stitch lengths relatively the same.
